All-Inclusive Safaris - Nkuringo Safaris

All-Inclusive Uganda Safari

An all-inclusive Uganda safari covers accommodation, all meals, standard drinks, transfers, activities, and park entry fees in a single quoted price — managed by a local operator from airport arrival to departure. Uganda’s safari lodges and tented camps are built around the all-inclusive model, meaning gorilla trekking permits, chimpanzee trekking, game drives, and boat safaris are typically bundled into daily rates. There are no bill surprises at checkout and no logistics to manage independently.

What Is an All-Inclusive Uganda Safari?

An all-inclusive Uganda safari is a fully managed trip where accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks), standard drinks, game drives, guided nature walks, primate trekking, non-motorised water activities, and all road transfers between parks are covered in a single daily rate. Park entry fees and trekking permit processing are also typically included. The only items left outside the rate are international flights, visa costs, gratuities, imported or rare drinks, and optional extras such as hot-air ballooning or unplanned activities.

Uganda’s safari lodges and tented camps operate almost exclusively on the all-inclusive model because the parks are remote, alternatives for independent meals or activities don’t exist, and the permit-heavy itinerary (gorilla permit $800, chimpanzee permit $250) requires advance booking and processing that works most efficiently through the operator.

What is included:

  • Accommodation — lodge room, cottage, tented suite, or camp tent as specified
  • All meals — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the safari
  • Standard drinks — soft drinks, local beer, wine, and spirits as available at each property
  • All activities as specified in the itinerary — game drives, guided walks, primate trekking, boat safaris
  • Park entry fees for each park on the route
  • Trekking permits — gorilla ($800 UWA), chimpanzee ($250 UWA), or golden monkey as applicable
  • Professional English-speaking guide for the full duration
  • All road transfers in a 4×4 safari Land Cruiser between airports, airstrips, parks, and accommodation
  • AMREF emergency evacuation cover (where included — confirm at booking)
  • Government taxes

What is not included:

  • International flights to and from Entebbe International Airport
  • Uganda tourist visa ($50 USD — apply at visas.immigration.go.ug)
  • Travel insurance (required — not provided)
  • Gratuities, tips, and service charges for guides, porters, and lodge staff
  • Additional meals or drinks outside the itinerary (e.g. café stops during transfers)
  • Imported or premium spirits and wines
  • Optional activities not listed in the itinerary (hot-air balloon, cultural tours, gorilla habituation experience)
  • Porter fees for gorilla trekking ($20, available at trailhead — recommended)
  • Extra luggage on domestic flights where applicable

What Our Travellers Say

Our guide (Darrick) was amazing; he was knowledgeable, very informative, and very flexible too! He also went above and beyond to make sure we experienced the things we were showing interest in. We are truly happy with Nkuringo and recommend it to friends and family.

My son and I spent two weeks experiencing African magic with Nkuringo Safaris, and we will never forget our time there. Truly a priceless experience. I could talk about those experiences for pages — the friendly people, the beautiful Nile River where we did whitewater rafting, the tree lions, the chimpanzees, and the majestic mountain gorillas.

Steven Susser

In November 2020, we travelled to Uganda as a couple in a 4×4 Safari Jeep. Considering the difficult time we are all in, we were especially happy about the level of service we experienced. You can travel to Uganda with no problem. During our travel, we felt safer than in Europe – everybody cared about our health and happiness.

Sarah B

Don’t miss out on this unique experience. Our guide, Richard, was excellent. We had an informative and unique walk down the mountain from Kisoro to Lake Mutanda. We walked through villages and saw families actively working their farms. The walk is easy. The dugout canoe was very comfortable, with padded seats. We highly recommend the adventure.

My husband and I had a week’s vacation, which is not a lot given everything we wanted to do/see. Nkuringo organized our trip to make the most of this week. The trip was flawlessly organized. Time management was perfect. They were flexible and accommodating, all our needs were met, and we felt listened to; it was a truly customized experience.

The most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. The welcome from a gorgeous team was lovely… hot water bottles in the bed and a fire lit in our room each night made it such a special place.

Our driver and guide (Frederic) made our stay very pleasant. He had a lot to share and was open to our ideas. We could rely on him at any time.

Travelling Uganda as a couple… our guide knew so much about animals, plants and the country’s history. He was funny and friendly and looked after us incredibly well.

Tom R, USA

We are a travel company ourselves and this company over-delivered for us… The whole thing ran like clockwork, even while making sure everyone was happy with the amount of time spent in each place.
